Landcare, local schools and community groups and many individuals undertook the initial planting of thousands of tube stock trees, shrubs and ground covers under guidance from Jock Waugh, BVSC Re-vegetation Officer.
Funding from a Bushcare grant assisted this programme. Work continues as funds become available. The Management Plan has identified areas suitable for planting to provide food, shelter and corridors for native fauna.
