Each year up to 10 young people from 16 years of age in SE NSW begin one of the biggest challenges of their life, journeying from Bermagui on the east coast of Australia to the top of the Snowy Mountains using boats, bikes and boots. Along the way they learn about the sustainable management of natural resources and help the community with landcare. The journey also provides direct entry and recognition under the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. (click here to see 1 min DVD trailer)
