About our members

People have different reasons for wanting to manage their native vegetation. Network Members range from those with small but important patches of vegetation to large tracks of bushland.

They may be managing the vegetation for many reasons such as to maintain the banks of creeks or rivers, provide habitat for native fauna, some have an endangered ecological community and some have formal conservation agreements protecting their vegetation.

Many of our members who are primary producers find that managing native vegetation improves grazing outcomes and is of benefit to their farming business.

Some members have received financial support and entered into management contracts with organisations such as the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, Bega Valley Shire Council or NSW National Parks and Wildlife service. We keep members informed of funding opportunities and provide support in completing grant applications.

Membership is free. If you’d like to join click here.
