I began doing the Markets at the Central Coast. Mum brought some things from Scotland. She had just retired so we had two card tables. We had no idea what prices to put on things. When new sellers go to the market, other markets see what they can get cheap and resell new.
My Dad got sick and could not drive us there anymore so we got a small shop so we could leave everything there. It was growing slowly every week. The people next door gave up their shop so we took their shop as well. We took down the wall between them so our shop grew. We took over three shops all together. We were selling old Bric-Brac and Scottish keepsakes.
