RACE DAYS
The complex will be open from 6.30am for drivers to arrive with their karts. Scrutineering will start from 7.00am at the scrutineering shed and finish at 8.30am sharp. Race applications will be taken from 7.00am and will also conclude at 8.30am sharp. In the past the Club has been lenient with late comers, however due to time restrictions, we must implement the time cut off. If you can't get out to the track and have your kart set up, scrutineered and race entry lodged in 1.5 hours then you may need to set your alarm earlier!
The engine start up area, which is located near the scrutineering shed and not in the pits, will be open at 9.00am. A drivers briefing will be held at 9.15am. Immediately following this a carburettor (carby) session will be held and will be in order from Midgets, Rookies, Junior National, Senior National, Sportsman and then TAG/Rotax.
Racing will commence at the conclusion of the carby session and the race order will be displayed on the in grid side of the scrutineering shed. The Grid Marshall will let you know when your class is due to form up on the dummy grid, make sure that you are aware of what classes are in front of you so that you know when you are up next. There is a 2 minute waiting rule for drivers running late, this has not been enforced yet, so make sure that you get yourself and your kart on to the grid with plenty of time to spare.
Racing will conclude prior to 5.00pm
