Kangaroo Valley VIEW Club member Joan Bray received the Shoalhaven Citizen of the Year Award in recognition of her contribution to the Kangaroo Valley community. Joan has been a member of Kangaroo Valley VIEW since 2000 and has served on committee as Secretary and Publicity Officer.

Esma has been a member of Narooma VIEW Club for 25 years. Esma has been involved with the Drop In Centre 8 to 9 years. The Hospital Association 4 years, Meals on Wheels 23-24 years, Nursing Home 2 years. Scripture classes at Narooma Public and Tilba School; Community Transport, Church volunteer, Supervisor for the High School certificate and the HSC.

Margaret Sirl has has been "the gardening guru of local ABC" for the past 20 years. She presents a Talk Back Gardening show twice a week on the ABC radio. She is guest speaker at many VIEW Clubs in the South East presenting gardening tips. Margaret has served on committees in many organizations for many years and is a dedicated member of VIEW.

Bega Evening members congratulate Joan Scullin who was named Bega Valley Shire Council's Senior of the Year. Joan is an inspiration to the community. Joan was nominated because of her work as President of the Senior Citizens organization, she is an active member of the CWA, and VIEW Clubs, Bank Hotel Fishing Club selling raffle tickets each week with proceeds going to various charity organizations
