  2. ( c ) Alphaville had a hit with Forever Young. It has lots of Cold War references too which are still relevant in a different slant these days.Alphaville got their name from a French/Italian sci-fi movie of 1965 directed by Jean-Luc Goddard, called ‘Alphaville-une etrange aventure de Lemmy Caution' . Forever Young was also covered by Laura Branigan as a single in the past.
  3. Franz Ferdinand come from Scotland. Extra point if also adds Glasgow.
  4. The Veronicas. Hail from Brisbane but are based in LA. Two big hits recently are 4ever,& Everything I'm not.
  5. Canada, born in Ontario Canada on 27 September 1984
  6. Australia -they are an eight piece Melbourne band, big in the indie Australian music scene and very popular overseas.
