BV LETS recently decided to change the membership subscription fee from yearly to 'lifetime'. There will still be a yearly admin fee paid in sapphires. The lifetime membership has the condition that members trade in a two-year period, so that we ensure non-active members do not stay on the membership list. If your membership has lapsed due to non-trading, you can re-join in order to reactivate your account.
To convert your current membership to a lifetime membership, go to the Subscription Renewal page.
When you join Bega Valley LETS you will receive access to the Members Register online, or you can opt to receive a loose leaf booklet. This has all the members' contact details and a categorised listing of their skills, goods and services. The Members Register is regularly updated to keep your Register current. When you require something you simply contact another member and ask if they are able to provide the service or product you require. If they are, you then negotiate a price, which could be any combination of dollars and Sapphs. To update your listings please contact the office.

The quarterly Newsletter, LETS GEMS, contains the latest information concerning the membership, members meetings, AGM, events, changes of telephone numbers and offers & requests, advertisements, articles, items of interest, LETS good news stories etc. Articles from members about LETS are most welcome. Placing an advertisement is free. Notices or ads can be mailed or e-mailed to the Editor. If you have items for sale, eg furniture or a bicycle, this would be listed as an advertisement in the newsletter. Only skills and services and permanent for sale items, eg produce, are listed in the register.
