Our 13 day Design Courses are specific to those wishing to reside in the cool to warm temperate regions of South Eastern Australia.
They feature a team teaching approach with tutors selected for their first hand experience in the subject matter they are teaching about and delivered using interactive Creative Facillitation techniques.
During the course there are 6 site visits ranging from urban backyard, small aceage and a large property featuring animal husbandry.
The texts used for the content of our Design Courses include -
" A Designers Manual" Bill Mollison
"Principles and Pathways Beyond Sustainability" David Holmgren.
"Teachers Notes" Rosemary Morrow.
"Teaching Permaculture Creatively" Robin Clayfield
On successful completion of the course a certificate will be issued which is a prerequisit for
* Teaching Accredited Permaculture Training.(APT)
* Membership of Permaculture International Limited. (PIL)
* Use of the word "Permaculture" in any business activity.
* Entry to both National and International Permaculture Convergences.
Strongly recommended before doing this course is reading either -
"An Introduction to Permaculture" Bill Mollison & Reny Slay or
" Earthusers Guide to Permaculture" Rosemary Morrow.
