This section covers all aspects of entries by juniors aged from under 6 up to 17.

The various sections include:

Horticultural

Floral work: 11 years &under. 12 years to under 18 years. This includes novelty arrangements and decorated saucers.

Fruit: Under 18 years.

Vegetables: Under 18 years. This also includes novelty pumpkin heads.

All Junior Exhibitors may also enter in the Novice and Open classes in the other sections.

Needlecraft

A small section exists covering the age groups 10 years and under, 11 years to under 15 years, 15 years to under 18 years.

A championship ribbon is awarded.

Photography

Colour Prints and Black & White Prints (Max 6"x8") in two age groups:

• 11 years and under,
• 12 years to under 18 years.

Championship ribbon plus one year's free membership to the Sapphire Coast Camera Club is awarded for the Champion Junior Print.

Prize money awarded in each class.

There is no restriction on the number of entries per exhibitor.

Art

Under 18 years, in 5 age groupings

There is a limit of 2 entries in any one class.

• Painting and Drawing (Any subject any medium).
• Collage
• Sculpture (Any medium)

Best picture in the Junior art section awarded prize money and ribbon. Prize money is awarded for best in each class.

Handcraft

A small section catering for 11 years and under, 12 years to under 18 exists, covering a variety of crafts suitable for the age groups.
