Regarding the Second Cobargo Community Meeting

Hello,

The link to the notes from the Second Cobargo community meeting is below...

thebegavalley.org.au/workshop2.html

The community meetings are intended to explore ways the Cobargo community, at all levels, can further develop the local economy through Tourism and other means (such as making the most of the local economy).

The first Cobargo meeting identified some significant opportunities the community could do in the short medium and long term.

The second meeting highlighted some of those and turned them into projects.

Those projects now need action - and we have identified the people who need to complete the tasks.

Some great developments have happened around the Grandfather Art/Garden Project namely that the Ulysses Motorcycle Club have expressed interest in being involved in various ways and that the 1st Cobargo Scout Group have teamed up with the Cobargo RSL to build a garden at the RSL and are keen to also explore the connection between the Scouts and the veterans/garndafthers and grandmothers.

These exciting new developments are the reason why it has take a week to email this note and link to the Cobargo Online Project web page.

We are waiting for confirmation that we can use the School of Arts Hall on Wednesday 3rd of October - so we'll send another email out to confirm and remind you about that final Cobargo meeting.

We'll complete the small projects we have all arranged so far, do a demonstration of wesbite editing, and explore the long term projects (such as the Grandfather art/garden) in greater detail.

See you soon.
