It is our future we talk about. During the election campaign it may be easy to lose our normal judgement when wild political promises are made.

We have to realise that the ALP, supported by the Unions and most Media, has no responsibility. They can promise anything. They have nothing to lose. If their promises are not happening nobody will be punished or made to account for failure to perform.

On the other hand, Prime Minister John Howard and his government has during the last 12 years led the nation into prosperity, securing for Australia a firm place on the international stage.

Mr Howard is not a popularity seeker. He has the courage to also make unpopular decisions as long as they are best for the country, on an ongoing long term basis.

Please, let us compare every individual in the coalition government with the equivalent shadow minister. Then we must be blind and deaf if we can not see which one of the two teams will be best for us!

Will you vote coalition? I will.

Why? Do we have an inferiority complex? Are we envious? Or jealous?

FACT: No country in the world has sacrificed so much as the USA in order to help other countries.

FACT: Many countries have used weapons to take over other countries as colonies. The USA have never done that. America does not want to take over land.

FACT: In 1942 the USA changed the outcome of WW2 and saved the free world.

FACT: After WW2 the American Marshall Plan financed the restoration of war- damaged Europe, including their enemies.

If it wasn’t for America we would not be living in a free world.

America is the biggest defender of the free world.

There is one shortcoming however. That is the one-sided handling of the Israel-Palestine conflict because of lobbying and high pressure on every US President from Jewish agencies.

When America started the Iraq operation it was based on available intelligence. Now everyone knows that the intelligence was wrong regarding weapons of mass destruction.

However a mass killer, Saddam Hussein, has been eliminated.

What would happen now if the US withdrew their troops from Iraq? Yes – a bloodbath.

ALP, supported by unions and most MEDIA, have no responsibility.

They are throwing promises like confetti. When those promises are not fulfilled nobody will be held accountable.

On the other hand the present Government has lead the nation into prosperity, securing for Australia a firm place with a very good reputation on the international stage.

It can not be common sense to try to replace something which is working so well.

The only thing that matters is RESULTS.

Mr John Howards continuing physical and mental fitness as well as his good judgement has been admired around the world. He is truly a Statesman.

What do we want?

What is essential for maintaining a peaceful, healthy, safe, competitive modern society? The answer is MONEY.

From 1983 to 1996 the two Labor Governments’ budget deficits continually increased.

From 1996 and onwards the deficits have been converted to increasing surpluses by the Coalition Government.

How could we pay schools, hospitals, communications, security, the aboriginal community, etc., not to mention our international help commitments, if our economy is not correctly managed?

The coalition has proven its ability. The ALP has proven its inability.

Consequently we should support the Coalition. I am very proud to be an “Aussie”.

Another aspect of the election. Do we really want a country where all the states are Labor and also the Federal Government?
