    Ragnar Pahlman was born in Sweden. He is a fourth generation educationalist and was the principal of the well known Broderna Pahlmans Commercial College in Stockholm until he moved to Australia. He is now a management consultant specialising in management and marketing techniques, selling, negotiating and presentation skills.

    He is the Managing Director of Pahlman International, founded in Scandinavia in 1846. Pahlman International represents the Swedish Management Group (one of the largest Management Consultant Groups in Europe).


    By profession a lawyer, he is a graduate, L.L.M., of Stockholm University. He worked as a judge for several years in City Law Courts and in the Court of Appeal in Stockholm. He was then appointed a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has his own law practice in Australia with an associate law firm in Stockholm (Swedish law only).


    He has helped Governments as well as private enterprise to introduce new and better productivity techniques.


    Several books and articles by him have been published on political and business matters. In line herewith he has studied and become a Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D., in political science.


    A Captain in the Swedish Cavalry he belongs to the only mounted regiment, the Royal Dragoons in Stockholm.


    For two years he served as a United Nations Military Observer and Legal Adviser in the Middle East, appointed by the Swedish Foreign Office.


    He is a Knight of Justice, K.St.J., in the Order of St John and the official representative to Australia of the Swedish Order.


    Other distinctions include medals awarded by the United Nations.


    He is Life Honorary Chairman of the Board of the Swedish Association of Private Schools.


    He was active private pilot for many years.
