Flowers 4 - True Blue
Blue flowers in the wild
Wahlenbergia multicaulis: Native - uncommon in the Bega valley.
Tweedia coerulea: A weed, Jackie tells me - not common in the valley. One of my favourite things.
Veronica persica: Oops another weed - common in our yard (came in with topsoil we think), but uncommon in the valley.
Dampiera fusca: Native found in allocasuarina heath in the Coolumbooka nature reserve. (large numbers after fire). Not found in the valley.
Wahlenbergia ceracea: native from Bega swamp. Not found in the valley.
Stypandra glauca: native - We found this one in rocky country atop the Bemboka walls.
Oh all right, it's not a flower, but this colourfull native bee may be imitating one as it takes it's rest out in full view, in the Bermagui cemetry.
