JANUARY, 2009

Val Currie accepting the cheque from Mr. Phil McDonald Chairman of the Mumbulla Foundation and Emma Benton Community Development Officer of Bega Valley Shire Council to enable us to run the Movie Days for $2 per head per session for Seniors Week.

FEBRUARY, 2009

Members enjoying the Woolworths Sausage Sizzle to raise money for the Drought stricken families.
The beautiful display at the community case at the Merimbula R.S.L. Present were Margaret Gardiner, Laraine Clarke, Jan Humphreys and Elizabeth Prosser.

MARCH, 2009

Margaret Gardiner presenting President Don Hay, Anne Smith and Sandy Farrell with a Perpetual Trophy to be given as the Community Volunteer of the Year Award.Pambula-Merimbula branch have donated this trophy to the Pambula Surf Life Saving Club.

APRIL 2009

A very active day was held at our June branch meeting, all heads down sewing teddies to give to the Ambulance service and hospitals.

September meeting 20 ladies did a Food Handling course with B.V.S.C. Greg O'Donnell the Envirmental Health Co-Ordinater We all passed a set quiz and received our Certificates.

OCTOBER 2009

This month we also attended a march for the Save the Pambula Hospital Action Group. This was filmed by Channel 9 and will go to air as an advertisement. Left:We were delighted to receive another grant from the Mumbulla Foundation, to enable us to run the Senior Movie Days next March. Accepting a cheque from B.V.S.C. Mayor Tony Allen, is Val Currie who originated this idea.Centre: Elizabeth Prosser presented flowers to past president Margaret Gardiner for her previous 3 years as president.
