Trial Introductory Flight (TIF)
If you have often pondered a career in aviation or just interested in flying as a hobby, come and have a go! A trial introductory flight with Sapphire Heli Services doesn’t just consist of a flight; we give you a full pre-flight briefing of the helicopter itself, the principles of helicopter flight and how all the controls work. Then it’s out to the chopper, your instructor will take you through a start up procedure and get you ready for your half hour in control of the helicopter. After five minutes in the air YOU WILL BE FLYING. You will be given the controls one by one until the instructor gives you all the controls and takes you through multiple basic flight manoeuvres. A TIF is your first step to your private or commercial license, plus if you decide to go on, you can log the half hour flight time towards your license.
