"These photos were taken while I was attending Bega High. We were walking around the school taking pictures for art-photography and found the military was doing careers talks with students. They had thought to bring a bunch of automatic rifles and a rocket launcher which were piled on the ground nearby.
We tried to ask if we could handle the weapons but no one was paying us any attention so we just helped ourselves and proceeded to take pictures of ourselves attacking the school (every students dream). We were never more than about ten metres from the Army, Navy and Air-Force officers but I don't think they really noticed us.
Tragedy struck later while I was loading the cartridge of film someone opened the darkroom door, this made the film opaque when developed, and so I was never able to print an image off it. Recently I used a high-resolution scanner to take the images directly off the negatives and then with heavy enhancement achieved a viewable image that has a great night-vision quality to it.
At the time these images were taken I was 15. The military officers did not hand us these weapons, they merely left them unattended and within reach of children."

These photos were unfortunately removed from this site due Bega High complaining.
I have obtained a copy and put them back cause they are dammed good photography.
Forward any complaint directly to me.
Im still wondering if the high school and or the military has taken steps to avoid this kind of thing happenning again. They gave no such such comments.
Ben is not at fault here he simply did what any self respecting photographer would do.
