MBGALAC

Fishing has been very tough over the last few weeks with very little joy for the flathead fishermen. Reef fishing hasn't been much better although a few snapper have been landed from anglers fishing down south.

Estuary fishing is the best bet with plenty of salmon and tailor caught as well as a few bream and trevaly. Beach fishing has  also been a bit tough but North Tura and Bournda areas have been providing a bit of action with salmon and tailor on the chew.

Grab a friend or bring the family down to the club this Friday night as Shane Mayberry and I will open the doors 6.30 pm sharp. Locals and visitors all welcome and we have a big selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Local fishing report  will be about 7.30 just before the beer and seafood raffle.

May your reel scream, Mex.

Canberra Raiders!!!

Capt Joe Gatt from Headland Charters reports a fair days fishing today. Watertemp was a cool 12c with overcast skies and a cold breeze from the south.

Adrian & Sarah from Canberra [Pictured on left] took the days honors over regular visitors Wayne Green & Steve Darby [Pictured right] from Melbourne.  Adrian was quick to show his skills with the rod whilst Sarah issued instructions.
