Since buying my first digital camera, I've been fascinated by how far they allow me to peer down into the parallel micro universe inhabited by insects, spiders and tiny fungi etc. My partner Jackie, (who is a botanist,) was recently able to identify a discrete Mosquito Orchid as Acianthus exsertus from this excellent photo detail of it's tiny flowers:
