There is exciting news for Bega on the eve of the opening of the Beijing Olympics with Bega Amateur Swimming Club announcing that they have been able to secure two Olympic Swimmers to visit Bega. Telstra Dolphins Australian Swim Team members Ashley Delaney & Patrick Murphy will be special guests at a “Swim for Life’ promotion to take place at the Bega Swimming Pool on Saturday 29th November, 2008.
Its very exciting to be able to have the opportunity to host Olympic athletes at a regional swimming club and we would like to encourage the people of Bega to get behind these swimmers and monitor their progress at the Beijing Olympics.
