Inspiring Books

I am an avid reader, and I'm sure I keep Amazon in business!  These are some all time favourites, and some books and related items that I've found helpful for personal and business development.  I hope you enjoy them too.

Debbie Ford, Dark Side of the Light Chasers.  How often do we meet someone who really pushes our buttons?  Or we see a side of ourselves that we've been trying to hide or remove for years?  Debbie Ford introduces us to our shadow side, and provides practical advice for integrating, rather than hiding it.  A book to read and read again!

Martha Beck, Steering by Starlight. This easy to read and amusing book is anything but lightweight.  I especially like the author's thoughts on one's "inner lizard", it brings up wry smiles of recognition!

Richard Branson, Let's Not Screw It, Let's Just Do It.  I like Richard Branson's philosophy on life and business, especially that having fun is crucial.  This is an easy read, but powerful in its messages.  Highly recommended.

Esther and Jerry Hicks (the Teachings of Abraham), Any/all of their work including books, CDs and DVDs, and especially the latest Money and the Law of Attraction, Learning to Attract Wealth, Health and Happiness.  This has some thought provoking concepts about getting and staying well, a great read.

Stacey Hall and Jan Brogniez, Attracting Perfect Customers, The Power of Strategic Synchronicity.  An excellent read, full of practical exercises, and a must for anyone who works with clients/customers (and don't we all?)

Denise Linn, Secrets and Mysteries, The Glory and Pleasure of Being a Woman.  Drawing on traditions from many cultures, this powerful book is a collection of wisdom that may change your perspective on what it means to be a woman.

Bruce Lipton, The Biology of Belief.  Fascinating read about how our brain functions, and how our cells are affected by our thoughts.

Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich.  A timeles classic, and don't be put off by the title, it's not another get rich quick with no effort scheme.  This was groundbreaking for its time (1930s) and no less relevant today.
