The main business area of Cobargo is located on the Princes Highway and Bermagui Rd and offers the visitor a range of Galleries, craft shops and second hand dealers. There are also a number eating places that can be found as well, these can be browsed on the Refreshments page.
Working Wood is a unique experience for those with a love of wood. The gallery is dedicated to the promotion of wood, wood products and woodcraft. Many of the pieces in the gallery have been created by Working Wood's designer/craftsmen Steve Stafford. Steve is recognized as one of Australia's best woodturners. The gallery also has woodwork from craftspeople both local and further afield.

South Coast Leather, occupies what was once one of the villages Butcher Shop and still has the original chopping block on display. The extensive range of quality leathergoods, in a variety of leathers, colours and textures will surprise you. Belts are made on the premises, cut straight from the full hide. Kinetix Sports Clothing, located in the heritage listed "Old Bank" cnr Bermagui Rd and Princes Hwy, makes specialty sportswear sold around Australia and in the Cobargo shop. The range includes "Seaskins" UV swimwear, Kinetix polar fleece clothing, hats and caps, quality socks and thermal underwear. Also in the building is Cobargo Home Brew Supplies, with an extensive range to satisfy the keen home brewer.

Situated between the Cobargo Bazaar and Working Wood, No.72 Princes Highway has a unique collection of art and craft from all over the world, with a distinct West African flavour. The shop has artifacts from over 60 different countries, as well as elegant and unusual contemporary giftware at affordable prices.
