Who are the Loom Growers? A Special Interest Group of the Sapphire Coast Producers' Association. We are a group of women from diverse backgrounds living in the Bega Valley, SE NSW, Australia who were made aware of the challenges faced by ethnic women of the province of Yunnan on the Burma-China border by four young Australian women who were working there.
About 20 orchid enthusiasts from a wide area of the Far South Coast formed the Sapphire Coast Orchid Club in late 1982. The objective of the club was to share information and provide mutual assistance with orchid growing on the Far South Coast of NSW.

Sydney U3A has over 5,000 members pursuing an interest in lifelong learning. We offer over 300 courses to members who pay a membership fee of $45 in their first year and $35 in subsequent years. Courses are free of charge except for token amounts for morning tea and materials in some courses. The organization is entirely run by volunteers.
