BEGA HOME
Path:  Home > Bega > Community > Australian Plants Society SE > Meetings and Activities

Our meetings are not really meetings at all, more like gatherings of people who enjoy Australian native plants. We get together every second month and usually have a brief "meeting" which is followed by an interesting activity.

The main feature of this activity will be a presentation by Jacqui Miles. She will give an illustrated talk on "Drought and native vegetation".

Jacqui is highly qualified to talk on this subject and will explain what is happening in the bush, and in your garden, in dry seasons like we have been having. She is co-compiler of the plants database on this begavalley.org.au  website.

You can also walk around the beautiful gardens and have lunch at the Chef's Cap cafe.

Bring any cuttings of native plants you have in your garden to share with the group.

Bring a chair, walking shoes and some lunch or order lunch at the Cafe.
For more details use the contact email on the front page.
