Enter at Bermagui Bridge Boat Ramp before 8.30am with your own boat/board to paddle to The Crossing (approx 6km) to arrive for the start of The Crossing Land Education Trust's Inaugural Open Day. Lunch on arrival, a bandana, certificate with your official time and chance to win a kayak are all included in the $15 entry fee and all funds raised help The Crossing, Bermagui Surf Club and Clean Energy for Eternity. There will be tours, fun activities for the family and music from 10am until 3pm. Lunch will also be available to non competitors for a small charge and those who arrive by road are asked to provide a donation (carbon tax) upon entry to the Crossing. |

This fully residential course is approved by the Permaculture Institute and on completion participants will be issued with a certificate.The course willl be held at The Crossing, a purpose built Land Education Centre for the promotion of sustainable living and conservation of the natural environment. Set in bushland on the banks of the Bermagui River, the centre is the first in NSW to have a Voluntary Conservation Agreement with National Parks. |
