Wandella Forest
Leave Peak Alone!
Local residents, community members and conservation groups are back at Wandella State Forest on the slope of Peak Alone, blocking the access of logging contractors to the forest.
This forests has been an area of concern for years amongst locals and conservation groups with many protests being held. We belive that the value of this forestsas producers of quality water, species habitat and greenhouse sinks far exeeds that for logging them. Come and help us.
The blockade is on the corner of Brassknocker Rd on Yowrie Rd.
Take Wandella Rd at Cobargo. Turn left into Yowrie Rd.
