TEACHER'S RESOURCE KIT
The Kit has been designed to help teachers to plan and implement interactive units for students. It deals with:
• resource conservation and recovery
• waste avoidance and minimisation
and provides overall education about the environment for each level from K-6. There are Sample Year Plans (from Early Stage One to stage Three), three Sample Units from Mumbulla School and a series of Suggested Activities concerned with resource conservation and waste minimisation.
The Teacher's Resource Kit includes a list of Recommended Resources, an extensive Glossary of Terms and a list of Useful Contacts.

Designed as an easy-to-follow guide and subtitled "How to Achieve Zero Waste in Your School", this booklet will set you off in the right direction.
With seven easy steps to follow, this Action Guide is your simple organisational tool to enable your school to set realistic targets for minimising waste, devise creative strategies and implement practical measures you can take to realise your waste reduction goals.
The Action Guide includes an extensive Glossary of Terms as well as lists of Suggested Reading and Useful Contacts, and comes with a supplementary Case Study: Zero Waste at Mumbulla School which details how the best practice demonstration site was established.
