The IMB Community Foundation selected Burragate Rural Fire Service as one of the successful community projects for funding in 2005. Eight new hardwood tables were constructed on Burragate oval, using local labour and even local trees milled at Rocky Hall.

The tables were completed in time for a public celebration BBQ in mid August acknowledging the IMB's support, then christened in a big way at the annual Fireworks Night when over 600 people head down to Burragate for a great night out.
