Spiders3 - web builders

 

Tetragnatha sp - Long legged spiders with huge chelicerae and fangs - often build over creeks and swamps. This one has her web in reeds on our dam.

 

 

 

Argiope aestherea - St Andrew's cross with classic web:

 

 

 

And here's what happens to your web when a large buzzy Dragon fly has just taken out the top right hand corner:

 

 

Herman Vanuytven has informed me that this spider is probably a Theridion. I found her living under our kitchen bench at Brogo.
