The Crossing Land Education Trust provides conservation education experiences that develop young people's capacity to live more sustainably.

 

OUR STATUS

The Trust is recognised on the Register of Environmental Organisations in Australia with gifts to The Trust being tax deductible. The Trust is also endorsed by 1%fortheplanet.org and manages a Voluntary Conservation Agreement with National Parks to protect the habitat of endangered and threatened species. The Trust is based at the top of the Bermagui River on the Wilderness Coast of NSW at a critical wildlife river crossing between the northern and southern coastal National Parks.

OUR ACTIONS

  • encouraging young people to adopt sustainable conservation projects and practices including permaculture design for water reuse, energy saving and habitat protection.
  • creating landcare discovery journeys for young people to conserve and protect the natural environment.
  • maintaining and acquiring land to encourage education and research.
