Runaway Claim, trained by Benney Wynen and ridden by Shelley Pollard, coasts home to a clear win in the second race at the Sapphire Coast Turf Club on Melbourne Cup day.
Run for Office was eased up on the post after scoring comfortably from Sheildon in the last race on Melbourne Cup day at the Sapphire Coast Turf Club.

Several dairy farmer members of the Bega Cheese Co-operative were on hand on Melbourne Cup day when Bega Cheese representatives presented the Sapphire Coast Turf Club with a new set of saddlecloths and strappers jackets carrying the Bega Cheese logo.
