Community interest in indigenous art and in indigenous artists themselves, is growing.
Following the success of an exhibition at the Eden Whale Festival in October 2004, members of the group were so encouraged by the response from the general community, they decided to extend the exhibition.
Much of the art work on display at the current exhibition, is new work. In the following weeks, as they come to hand, new pictures from the exhibition will be available for viewing on this site.
In an interview with members of the Eden Access Centre, long time artist Cheryl Davison welcomed the opportunity for the further display of some of these images on thebegavalley.com to further promote the work of local artists and share their aspirations for the future.
