Imlay House is a high care facility in Merigan St Pambula, situated directly below Pambula Hospital. It is a welcoming and tranquil home with professionally qualified staff, who aim for excellence in their provision of care.
This community owned, not-for-profit charitable facility opened in 1985 with 52 beds. A further building program saw the opening of the McPherson Wing in 1998 and the newly completed Caris Roarty Wing in 2007.
The Residence now offers 73 High care beds, including 22 Dementia specific beds and 9 Extra Service beds. The majority of our residents now have spacious and attractive single rooms. There are also 3 shared rooms. Throughout the facility there are several lounge rooms, dining rooms and quiet sitting areas. The home is set amongst pleasant garden areas with cosy seating for the residents' enjoyment. Imlay House employs approximately 120 staff and over 70 volunteer
