- Coastal Development . The State Government has released its draft South Coast Regional Strategy was on exhibition until 31 May. The Strategy once finalised will guide local planning in the three local government areas of Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and Bega Valley and will "ensure that the significant natural and scenic assets that underpin the regional economy are not compromised by growth". It will be reviewed every five years.
- Don't root Wallagoot! The Wallagoot Lake proposed development remains a threat to the wetlands and lake. Latest! The developer has withdrawn his application, but may resubmit it in a different form later on. Watch this space.

- The Wandella blockade ended after five and a half months on December 4 2005. Congratulations to Sooty, Tony, Marco and the heroic crew who kept up their vigil at the foot of Peak Alone right through winter and one of the wettest springs on record with some of the fiercest storms.
They put up with the cold, abuse from Federal and State politicians, harrassment from local rednecks, physical assaults (2 loggers were charged) and to top things off, a Supreme Court injunction.
