The Bega River and Wetlands Landcare Group Inc is a voluntary, community organisation which monitors, plans for and implements activities relating to Bega’s rivers and wetlands. The group works in cooperation with the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority (SRCMA) and Bega Valley Shire Council (BVSC). Main activities include weed control, revegetation, flora and fauna monitoring, community information/field days.
