Carsten & Tina move to Bega

Hi Bega locals, after annoying all our Sydney friends with talk about how lovely Bega is and how great we'll have it once we finally move there, the time has come to put our grand plan into action.

We'll pack our things and move to Bega on the 27/1/08 together with our two wild boys Aurin (5) and Robin (1).

Update: we've just found a nice house! Thanks alot to Geoffrey Grigg for his great assistance!

So who are we? I am a computer geek and work as an IT consultant. I'll be working at home from Bega and travelling to Sydney and other places on a regular basis, so if you're a frequent flyer, we'll probably meet in the Rex lounge in Merimbula . I am also a remedial massage therapist and although I do have a full time job, I'ld love to fit in a couple of massages on the weekends or evenings. I do relaxing Aromatherapy massage or strong deep tissue massage whatever is appropriate for the situation.

Tina is mostly looking after our sons but she will soon embark on the grand project of building our dream strawbale home. She has spent the last 2 years researching straw bale building and other forms of sustainable building practices and is really keen on getting her hands dirty.

Aurin will attend the Kindie at the Mumbulla Steiner school which will hopefully be a natural progression for him after being in touch with Steiner educational principles since early playgroups. He also dreams of being a super skateboarder and showing off to the guys down at Tathra beach, but he'll have some serious practicing to do first .

Robin will thoroughly enjoy the bush and the surf and will help Tina in any way he can to get the strawbale house up.

So that was a little introduction, I am looking forward to meeting you soon.
