ptabThe water is wide Max CampbellJThe main structural elements of my arrangements are, first position chords and freely used open strings in the melody and bass. Here I've used a falling motif in the bass and some suspended fourth sounds, as well as a couple of inverted third (6th interval ) runs. Note that I've compromised the sustain time for the many 5 beat , end of phrase, melody notes in this tune so as to incorporate a middle voice (usually G string ) pedal. -This editor doesn't seem to allow more than melody and bass voices, but it's my fond hope that I've managed the midi play back well enough to convey the original intent. You should, of course, allow the full measure in your playing. I would always suggest that you find other sources for the harmony and melody in these tunes and use them along with my ideas as a basis for your own arrangements.CGuitarUntitledh@Standard@;72-( CGuitarIn CTempoMarkerd CSection2 CChordText CStaff0 CPosition CLineData@! !# @ @@ #!B@@"@ b bbcc!c CMusicBarTT2 !3@@ !@ !!B B!BB##@"@b b bBb@B`!TTT2 $-@#@ !!@ @!@@ #!!!B !"B`@B b `!BbB`c!cTTT2 [ $3B!B @B @ @@@@B!!@@ !"@$ !@c`b ` `cc!c$TTTT#Untitled!h@Bass+&!2 } ArialTimes New RomanTimes New Roman
