The Four Winds Festival held last Easter in Bermagui has been nominated for the Best Festival/Event for 2008 in Australia by the well regarded Limelight magazine.
Fans and friends of the Four Winds Festival in Bermagui have a unique opportunity to put their favourite festival in the limelight, and help it win, by voting for it in the 2008 Limelight Awards.
The Limelight Awards, unique in Australia, are voted for by the audience, rather than by judges. Nominating the award the festival is described by Limelight as:
Anyone can vote by going to our website www.fourwinds.com.au, and following the links, or to www.limelightmagazine.com.au, and voting there. Voting is open from 15th September to 17th October.
"This is the local community's chance to vote for your festival. It's one computer, one vote, so we need help from everyone! You can pick up a copy of the September issue of Limelight at the newsagent, and read about it," said Sheena Boughen.
