Towards Website Excellence
Just as a library is for readers and not writers, a website is for visitors and not hosts. The primary objective in posting information on a website is to enable visitors to access it readily and easily. The extent to which this is achievable is how we at RPDesign judge website quality.
There is no linear 'quality design path', rather a set of principles, as briefly discussed here, which lead to design that is both attractive and functional. Past experience, an ability to listen and discuss, creative thought and technical ability in implementation are all critical factors. RPDesign is committed to applying these factors in a manner that achieves the primary objective: an excellent website.
Why this Theme?
The samurai (or bushi) were the members of the military class, the Japanese warriors.
Samurai employed a range of weapons such as bows and arrows, spears and guns; but their most famous weapon and their symbol was the sword.
Samurai were supposed to lead their lives according to the ethic code of bushido ("the way of the warrior"). Strongly Confucian in nature, Bushido stressed concepts such as loyalty to one's master, self discipline and respectful, ethical behavior.
