THE SHOW ROOM GALLERY ....

The Show Room Art Cooperative Ltd is situated in the centre of Cobargo on the Princes Highway. The gallery is open on a regular basis Thursday through to Monday 10-4pm so come by and purchase a truly unique art piece.

The Show Room Art Cooperative Ltd Gallery officially opened for business in June 2006. 12 enthusiastic local artists from Bermagui, Tilba, Cobargo and Brogo offer a range of outstanding quality work including metal and timber sculptures, wood fired pottery, ceramics, paintings, drawings, photographs, natural fibre products, textiles, jewellery and wearable art.  

Within the premises there is a smaller room referred to as the ‘Side Room’. This is a space used for changing exhibitions; the cooperative holds regular group exhibitions there adopting a different theme each time. The space is also hired to other artists who are looking for an opportunity to exhibit their work locally. About every three weeks the exhibition changes and there is a notice board at the front of the gallery with current and upcoming exhibitions and events listed.

Some of the artists run workshops at the gallery where students can learn techniques of various crafts and gallery browsers can drop in and observe them at work.
