About the Play
This is a promenade play; the audience follows the characters on their journey to three different locations in the park during the performance. The locations are approximately 200 metres apart.
Join Mole, Ratty, Otter, Badger and Toad on the Riverbank, at Toad Hall and in Gaol as we use the beautiful natural environment at Mandeni as our "sets".
Children and adults of all ages will love this production - there is something for everyone!
Audiences are asked to bring a cushion or blanket to sit on and are welcome to bring a picnic. Please make sure your picnic is packed up before the show starts, as the whole audience will move around the park during the show. Chairs are not encouraged, but if required, we reserve the right to help you place them to avoid blocking other people's view.
We recommend you bring hats and sunscreen. Soft drinks and coffee are available from the Mandeni kiosk.
Why not make a day of it and combine the show with other activities at Mandeni? Bring a picnic, go bike riding, bushwalking, paddleboating, play 9 hole golf, water golf, pitch and putt, mini golf, croquet, archery, bocce or spring onto the giant jumping pillow! Mandeni is open from 9.30am to 5pm.
